CHRYSALIS is a Los Angeles based non-profit organization devoted exclusively to helping economically disadvantaged and homeless individuals become self-sufficient through employment opportunities.

CHRYSALIS was founded in 1984 as a food and clothing distribution center serving homeless men and women living on the streets of Los Angeles' Skid Row. Recognizing longer-term solutions were needed, CHRYSALIS developed an effective and nationally recognized program to help homeless people become job ready; find and retain employment.

Recognizing the need for professional clothing in CHRYSALIS' job search and retention program, EWGA Los Angeles Chapter members organized a clothing drive among members that resulted in over $5,000 worth of business attire being donated at the July 11 - Chapter Championship Tournament.

Thanking EWGA members, CHRYSALIS Executive Director, Dave Mc Donough said, "Your efforts and these clothes will translate into improved lives and futures for hundreds of economically disadvantaged women, men and young adults who will certainly benefit from having professional clothes to wear to job interviews and new jobs."
