From The Editor’s Desk

Welcome to Women’s Online Golf Magazine. The www.womensgolf.org website, featuring association tournaments, entry forms and individual handicap retrieval for California’s women’s golf associations, has been online since 1995. A search to link our membership to information and resources pertaining to women’s golf lead to the development of an online magazine which would embrace the mission shared by California’s seven Women’s Golf associations - to promote and foster interest in women’s amateur golf. The magazine offers instructional articles by professionals and profiles of women in golf, along with identifing golf destinations and new golf books. Issues affecting the concerns of women golfers are addressed. Moreover the online magazine provides links to websites of interest, such as the USGA and other women’s golf associations across the country. Women's Online Golf serves as a forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences on the links, and addresses various rules and handicap issues not easily or commonly understood.
